Waffle with soft ice and sprinkles on top served on my tummy… would you eat it?
You are taking me back to my childhood, my friend. My family used to vacation down at Wildwood, New Jersey every summer. You couldn’t walk more than 50 feet on the boardwalk without passing a place that served ice cream and waffles.
They were a bit different. They were like waffle sandwiches, the size of one panel of a waffle. The didn’t use soft ice cream, it was hard frozen squares of neopolitan (they had to be hard frozen, because when you ordered on, the waffle was hot when you got it), and they were topped with powdered sugar.
I guess you could say they were like what you’re talkin’ about, only totally different. lol
But you triggered the memories of walking down the boardwalk with my family on a warm summer evening eating one of these…thanks.
